President Barack Obama & the First Family

Melissa & the Kitchen Table Family,

As I sign off for the night, I leave this image of the First Family. Obama's victory is not just his own, it belongs to all of America, it belongs to all of us. And some of the love that has sustained and nurtured Obama can be seen in this image of our President-elect and his lovely wife and children. This picture is a reminder that it takes a family, a community, a village of committed people to make change. This is our hope: that together we can and we will do anything.

What an inspiring moment in our history and a repudiation of the politics of hate and fear in favor of hope and unity. At the end of a long day, and a long two years, my heart feels ready to burst with joy.

I wonder how long it takes before saying the words "President Obama" won't put a big cheesy cheek hurting grin on my face.

Seriously has there ever been a more beautiful First Family?? I was damn near tearing up when the families came onstage after Obama's acceptance speech, truly a new day in America.

Congratulations! Congratulations!

Sincerely, congratulations to your candidate's win!

I obliged in submission a defacto treaty to honor this consequential paradigm shift from the moment of hearing the announcement. I sequestered with respect my longstanding reservations of Obama to grace him as my mortal peer with the reverance he deserves of this physical, spiritual, and systematic feat.

I instantly recognized and honored him as my president in place eventhough I don't like him. Well, I did the same of Bush, in recognizing his authority as my prexy eventhough justice was abducted via tyranny.

This family though, I will respect and regard --- even take a bullet for if I really, really, really had to because it and his proxy is bigger in ideas to make the opportunities available in potential. The expediency of his choices died, a new page turned, and proxies shifted weight that makes actualities possible with more opportunities available in scope to delve deeper in nuance about complexities most people, Black and White, have no language of understanding for.

I will continue to badger a platform most middle-class elites and strivers want to ignore of the a needed language we all need to speak in understanding our schemas. And as well, I will still hold to my criticisms of his schemas that brought him to this place of power. Complex but true.

It was meant to be!

It's divine intervention but not a fairytale. It's divine relevation summoning my resolve for the essential commitment to have the stamina to endear the trials and tribulations of the next evolutions approaching our very present lives. I hope we can claim a sense of urgency to want to embrace the uncertainty.

I embrace the journey we are about to embark on. For me, it's more fighting.

Huzza! Huzza!

Hmm!

I've just realized/remembered that, on the maternal side, our man, Barack Hussein Obama, traces his roots back to Ireland, the Isle of the Blarney Stone. To be precise, a little village called Moneygall.

"Moneygall?" said I, "Hmm! What a quirky name?"

So! I began playing around with it (the village's name) and, pretty soon, told myself, "Hmm! Doesn't "Money" mean "The Economy" and, "Gall" mean "Bitterness"?"And, soon enough, to ponder, "Could it be that, somewhere, therein, the key to properly assessing our man's chances lies?" Which set me Nostradamusly awaxing, as follows:

"When the people of Liberty Land

About their money very galled become,

Then will they aside their blinkers cast

And, in the Blanched Castle, the Inspired One install." © kid5rivers

Maybe those who, presently, rush for our man's jugular over his FISA stance would take heed of this bit of kidding? lol

You have inspired me with your wisdom and ability to articulate complex ideas and issues. I suspect our new president will call on you and other keen minds to guide this nation. Congratulations to us all.
